FOREIGN INVESTED COMPANY’S INVESTMENT

   An investor may establish a new business entity solely or jointly with other investors in Mongolia. In addition, Investors may make investment freely into the sectors and productions and services except as otherwise prohibited or restricted by legislations of Mongolia.
   According to Article 3.1.5 of Investment law of Mongolia, a business entity with foreign investment means a business entity incorporated according to the applicable legislations in Mongolia and must have an overall equity of US$100,000 or more (or equivalent in Mongolian tugriks or MNT), not less than 25 percent of which is invested by a foreign investor(s).
   Therefore, the investment of US$100,000 will be transferred from a foreign legal entity to the temporary account of the foreign invested company.
