PERCENTAGE OF FOREIGN LABOR FORCE AND SPECIALISTS
The Government of Mongolia approves annually the percentage of foreign labor force and specialists and for the percentage for 2015 year was approved under the Resolution No.2 of the Government dated 7 January 2015 hereby resolves that:
The percentage of foreign labor force and specialists in legal entities operating in sectors may be different depending on what types of activities are carried and how many number of employees employed by them. The percentage of foreign labor force and specialists to be rated to total number of employees of the legal entities is included in the appendix of this resolution.
·For example: If total number of employees in business entities carrying exploration of crude oil and natural gas business is up to 50, they can employ foreigners up to 60%, if 51-100, up to 70%.
The percentage of foreign labor force and specialists in legal entities operating in sectors are not included in the appendix is up to 5% of the total number of their employees.
Workplace payment:
As stated in Article 9.2, Law of Mongolia Sending Labor Force Abroad and Receiving Labor Force and Specialists from Abroad that “Monthly workplace amount is equal to 2 times of the minimum wage approved by Government of Mongolia per foreign citizen”, such payment sets to be MNT 192000 since 1 September 2013.
