ESTABLISHING INTERNATIONAL AND FOREIGN BRANCHES AND REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES IN MONGOLIA

   Foreign nationals and Citizens may apply to Mongolia for registration, obtaining permits for operation, extension, and liquidation of branches of international and foreign non-governmental organizations in Mongolia. 
 
   Foreign nationals and Citizens can obtain permission to operate the branch or representative office in Mongolia within 60 days from the relevant organizations and make a decision by the Board of Directors. 
 
   Following documents must be submitted for opening of international and foreign branches and representative offices in Mongolia.  
1. Application; 
2. Fill out an application for a permit to open a branch or representative office; 
3. The decision of the Board of Directors of the central organization on the opening of branches and representative offices; 
4. A copy of the central organization's charter (stamped on each page on each page); 
5. Introduction to members of the governing body of the central organization 
6. A certified copy of a certificate, registered under the laws of your country; 
7. Statement on financing sources of the branch and representative office (statement of the client bank of the organization); 
8. Branch and Representative's Action Plans, implementation deadlines and budgets; 
9. The branch and representative office application form (1 copy of the photo); 
10. Power of attorney issued by the central organization to the head of the branch or representative office; 
11. Copy of the national passport or national ID of the head of the branch; 
12. A statement from the relevant state police regarding the involvement of the head of a branch or representative office in a crime; 
13. Charter of branches and representative offices to be opened; 
14. Total number of employees; 
15. When obtaining the approval of the branch or representative office, the above documents must be translated into Mongolian and certified by a translator with 3 copies; 
16. The name of the branch or representative office on the application form must be translated into Mongolian and translated into Cyrillic; 
17. It does not overlap with the names of other branches, representative offices and legal entities registered with the state administrative body in charge of state registration. 
 
   Permission to open a branch or representative office in Mongolia shall be issued for a period of up to one year.
