REGULATION FOR ISSUING AN INVITATION TO A FOREIGN NATIONAL TO TRAVEL TO MONGOLIA FOR PRIVATE PURPOSES
The purpose of this regulation is to receive applications from Mongolian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons to invite foreign nationals to Mongolia for private purposes and to issue invitations to travel to Mongolia for private purposes.
An inviter is a citizen of Mongolia who has reached the age of 18 and a foreign national who has been legally residing in the country for more than 90 days, who has applied for an invitation from the General Authority in accordance with this regulation and Invitee means a foreign national who received an invitation from the applicant and while the invitee was abroad.
During the stay in Mongolia, the invitee has the following responsibilities:
- Comply with the Constitution of Mongolia and other laws and regulations, and respect the traditions and customs of the Mongolian;
- To return during the visa period in Mongolia;
The following foreign citizens shall not have the right to be invited:
- if a foreign citizen who is a minor or has no legal capacity does not have a legal guardian or custodian;
- If there is a person who has contracted an infectious disease that may pose a threat to public health or has symptoms that may have caused the disease;
- If Mongolia has been declared an unfavorable person;
- If it is wanted internationally;
- If it contradicts the provision of national security and protection of social order of Mongolia;
- If there is no guarantee of the source of capital to be in or return to Mongolia;
- If someone has been deported in accordance with the procedures specified in this law and the period of prohibition to enter Mongolia has not expired.
The invitee shall receive the invitation from the inviter and submit the visa application to the Diplomatic Mission of Mongolia abroad together with the relevant documents.
