MORE THAN 95 PERCENT OF COMPANIES IN THE CAPITAL CITY WILL BE ABLE TO OPERATE NORMALLY
The State Special Commission held a meeting and made the following decisions.
The meeting heard the overall results of the “One Door-One Test” process, determined the prevalence of coronavirus pandemic, and decided to reduce the level of public preparedness for disasters by one step from February 23, 2021 to a high level of preparedness.
As a result, the majority of companies operating in the capital city, or more than 95 percent, will be able to operate normally.
A total of 442,303 households were test by the “One Door-One Test” in Ulaanbaatar as of the 23rd. 54 cases and 13 new foci were detected, of which 8 foci were active. These foci are under full control. A risk assessment was carried out in the situation, which resulted in the level of coronavirus infection reduction from the high-risk RED fourth level to the YELLOW second level, to a high readiness level, and a temporary procedure was issued to normalize business operations.
As a result, all activities will be open and operating normally, except for gaming centers, children's play center, disco bar, extended and trade fairs, tours (except for family) and competitions.
For these restricted activities, the operation date will be decided from time to time based on the health facility's risk assessment.
Business entities, individuals, and legal entities will be obliged to follow the instructions, recommendations, and infection control regimes issued by professional organizations while continuing their activities. General temporary procedures will be submitted to businesses.
