LAW ON COVID-19 PREVENTION AND COMBAT AMENDED

   The State Great Khural, the parliament of Mongolia, approved the amendment to the Law on Prevention, Combat, and Reduction of Social and Economic Impacts of the COVID-19 at its June 30 plenary session. 
   The law, which was also at the session extended to remain effective until the end of this year, contains provisions aimed at preventing and fighting against the pandemic, population health protection, making prompt decisions, reducing negative social and economic impacts and as well as certain restrictions on human rights and matters concerning the government’s power to manage some organizational issues under special regulations. 
   With the latest amendment to the law, border administrative organization with special full power will be established with a view to increase commodities export and import volume and provide integrated management for organizations responsible for border control, border transport regulations, health and safety management and local administration.
