In the first volume of the multi-author work entitled “Legal Research”, 169 articles by 115 authors, published between 1928 and 2011, the articles in chronological order of publication, and the third volume, entitled “The Legal Environment of Advocacy and Ideas for Its Reform,” the second volume includes 33 articles and essays by 30 authors on the quest for the legal environment of the advocate, and the third volume, now being published, is dedicated to the study of the professional self-regulatory organisation of advocates and includes 36 works by 14 authors.
The distinguishing feature of this work, published as the third volume of Advocacy Studies, is its focus on a single theme concerning bar associations: “The Nature of Bar Associations,” “Membership of Bar Associations,” “the governance of lawyers’ organisations”, “the financing of lawyers’ organisations”, and so on, with multiple authors presenting their own research and conclusions.
